Oscar is hiring a 1099 Physician for APP Supervision to oversee Advanced Practice Providers in a telemedicine setting. This role requires board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine and supervision experience.
You are a board-certified physician with a strong background in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine. You have experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring compliance with state regulations. You thrive in a remote work environment and are committed to innovative healthcare delivery.
Experience in telemedicine is a plus, as is a passion for refactoring healthcare systems to improve patient outcomes. You are a collaborative leader who can work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
In this role, you will provide regulatory supervision to Advanced Practice Providers across various service lines, including Virtual Urgent Care and Oscar Primary Care. You will not be providing direct patient care but will oversee the quality of care delivered by your team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, collaborating with medical assistants and registered nurses, and providing guidance to your team to enhance their performance.
You will play a crucial role in shaping the healthcare experience for Oscar Health members, focusing on personalized care and innovative solutions. Your leadership will help foster a culture of excellence and accountability within the team, ensuring that all service lines operate smoothly and effectively.

The compensation for this position is $300 per APP per month for supervision duties, and Oscar Medical Group will cover your malpractice insurance.
