Amazon is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst specializing in Payroll to manage end-to-end payroll processes and ensure data accuracy. You'll leverage your auditing skills and payroll system knowledge to support the Payroll Team in Hyderabad.
You have 3 to 5+ years of experience in APAC payroll, demonstrating a strong understanding of payroll processes and systems. Your auditing skills are outstanding, allowing you to ensure data accuracy and compliance in payroll operations. You possess excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for customer service, which drives you to deliver the best results for employees. Your background in finance or accounting equips you with the necessary knowledge to manage payroll operations effectively. You are proficient in Excel and other MS applications, enabling you to handle data compilation and analysis efficiently. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can navigate ambiguity while managing competing objectives.
Experience in project management and stakeholder management is a plus, as you will be required to collaborate with various teams. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field will further enhance your qualifications for this role. Your ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions will be crucial in improving payroll processes and responding to employee inquiries in a timely manner.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll for multiple countries on a bi-weekly and monthly basis. You will audit payroll-related data to ensure accuracy and compliance, demonstrating a keen eye for detail. Your role will involve managing finance operations for payroll, where you will own operations with a high volume of transactional inputs and outputs. You will create and implement cutting-edge processes for payroll, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will also produce timely responses to employee inquiries, ensuring that their concerns are addressed promptly. Your ability to analyze data for root causes will help in identifying areas for improvement in payroll operations. You will earn and develop the trust of others, challenging and improving processes and procedures as needed.
