Overview

Google is seeking a Head of Industry for Retail to lead sales teams and drive results through innovative advertising solutions. Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 11 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media. Your background includes experience in people management, and you have a proven track record of managing and developing sales teams to deliver results. You excel at fostering shared insight and purpose while promoting creative technologies to key decision-makers. You have experience influencing executive-level clients and stakeholders, driving results in complex, agile environments, and possess a deep understanding of customer business objectives. Your ability to lead in business and operations management, strategic planning, and systems thinking allows you to align strategies effectively to deliver customer business outcomes. You are adept at developing joint business plans in ambiguous environments and have a passion for sales and knowledge of online media, committed to maximizing customer success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success. You will plan for and achieve growth goals through the presentation of Google advertising products and solutions that help clients meet their marketing objectives. Your responsibilities will include building an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be utilized to meet a wide range of marketing objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, uncovering their business needs and translating them into powerful solutions to achieve their most ambitious goals. You will work closely with sellers to achieve team objectives and ensure that the sales team is aligned with the overall strategy of Google’s advertising solutions. Your role will also involve fostering relationships with key stakeholders and continuously seeking innovative and strategic ways to deliver extraordinary outcomes for both Google and its customers.
