Dropbox is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive growth through enhanced onboarding and lifecycle programs. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve activation and retention metrics. This role requires experience in data-driven marketing strategies.
You have 5+ years of experience in product marketing, particularly in growth-focused roles, where you've successfully driven user activation and retention through innovative strategies. Your background includes a strong understanding of customer insights and how to translate them into effective marketing narratives that resonate with users. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to create seamless onboarding experiences that enhance user engagement. You are data-driven, utilizing analytics to measure the success of your initiatives and iterating based on insights gained from experiments. Your experience includes mentoring junior team members and fostering best practices within your team, even if you haven't held formal management roles. You are also familiar with localizing marketing programs for diverse geographies and have a keen awareness of accessibility best practices in your work.
Experience with marketing automation tools and familiarity with digital marketing channels would be advantageous. A background in SaaS or technology products is a plus, as is knowledge of user behavior analytics and experimentation methodologies.
In this role, you will lead key initiatives within the Dropbox Core growth funnel, partnering with the Growth Product Manager and Product Marketing Manager Lead to shape and execute strategies that drive user activation and retention. You will independently own significant parts of the user journey, focusing on onboarding and lifecycle experiences that guide users from their first interaction with Dropbox to meaningful, repeatable engagement. Your responsibilities will include designing and running experiments to uncover insights that can significantly impact activation and retention metrics. You will also work on monetization strategies, clarifying the value of Dropbox Core and AI features to strengthen upgrade paths and improve conversion rates. Your hands-on approach will involve rolling up your sleeves to run tests and ship programs that directly influence key performance indicators.
Dropbox offers a competitive compensation package, with salaries ranging from $175,100 to $236,900 depending on your location within the US. You will have the opportunity to work in a fully remote environment, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. As part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to shaping the future of Dropbox's growth strategy while enjoying a culture that values collaboration, innovation, and personal development. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe diverse teams build better products.
