Over all, Supply Quality Manager is in charge of Amazon hardware devices EM commodity (PCB, FPC, Antenna, Camera, connectors etc.) suppliers quality management. They Key responsibilities includes supplier quality management, failure analysis and problem solving, process improvements, technical initiatives and quality procedure and system development.
Key job responsibilities
Sourcing Support
• Lead and conduct potential supplier qualification audits for both system and process levels.
• Support Global Commodity Managers in the development of new suppliers or existing suppliers of new components to improve reliability and quality.
Play Key role in Sustaining Quality Management
• Drive suppliers to produce the highest quality parts by performing approved control plans
• Continuous monitoring quality performance in supplier and FATP site.
• Drive supplier corrective actions and be able to describe their experience relative to processes.
Strong Problem-Solving player
• Identify potential problems and improvements with design of new products, specifications, components, and materials.
• Anticipates potential problems, identifies and resolves performance issues and problems that affect the reliability, maintainability
Cross-functional team work
• Partners with Global Commodity Managers to reduce life cycle cost of materials and components while maintaining a high sensitivity to quality.
• Maintain communication with suppliers, and other internal teams on appropriate issues and improvements.
• Interface with functional manager to establish daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals and milestones.
Enhance Sustaining Quality and Standardization
• Managing suppliers in Mass Production to continuously produce high quality parts consistently
• Establish and implement processes for ensuring that all components sourced in China meet acceptable and recognized industry standards in terms of test, sampling, materials.
• Collecting data and compiling supplier quality scorecards as key input to QBR; Present it to suppliers and lead the actions to improve the supplier.
• Maintain records for supplier inspections, audits, and corrective actions.- • Bachelor’s in Electronics, mechanical, chemical or manufacturing preferred.
- • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing and quality field.
- • 5+ years working experience in PCB or FPC or Antenna, Connector or speaker module or camera module, manufacture or process management.
- • Familiar with related IPC standards

- • Strong technical background in manufacturing process and machining.
- • Strong ability to lead supplier qualification and process validation, supplier development and new project launch, trouble shooting and quality improvement.
- • Experience in manufacturing, has good capability of process problem solving with appropriate tools
- • Have capability to manage multiple development programs in parallel
- Quality knowledge & experience
- • Solid understanding on quality tools such as PPAP, GRR, Six-sigma etc.
- • Experience in implementing processes to control and monitor supplier quality from qualification stage through to mass production.
- Soft Skill
- • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
- • Able to work independently on-site at suppliers and travel as needed
- • Self-motivated, passion for work, highly committed and disciplined.
- • Result oriented, with strong sense of ownership and sense of urgency- • Has good SMT application experience.
- • Has good Device Assembly and Testing related knowledge.
- • Device Reliability knowledge
- • Has good Machine learning application experience.
- • ASQ GB/BB/CQE/CMQ or equivalent qualified.
