Overview

Axon is seeking an Account Manager focused on Growth & Acquisition to drive strategic growth and support public safety transformation across major law enforcement accounts. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate complex government environments.

You have a proven track record in account management, particularly within the public sector or law enforcement, where you've successfully driven growth and built lasting relationships. Your ability to understand complex customer needs and navigate the intricacies of government agencies sets you apart. You thrive in environments that require deep customer empathy and strategic thinking, ensuring that your clients receive the best solutions tailored to their unique challenges.

Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results that matter. You are a proactive closer, skilled at identifying opportunities for expansion and adept at coordinating resources to meet customer needs. You understand the importance of aligning your efforts with the broader mission of protecting life through transformative technology, and you are passionate about making a difference in public safety.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate value propositions clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders. Your ability to foster trust and rapport with clients is key to your success, as you work to deepen customer relationships and ensure long-term adoption of solutions. You are comfortable with travel, as this role requires you to engage with clients across the Eastern U.S., spending over 60% of your time on the road.

Desirable

Experience in technology sales or account management within the law enforcement sector is a plus. Familiarity with public safety technology solutions will help you hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and growth across a territory of major city police departments and county sheriff’s offices. You will work closely with a Key Account Leader to co-own revenue goals and develop strategies that align with Axon's mission. Your day-to-day activities will involve identifying new business opportunities, closing deals, and expanding existing accounts.

You will engage in regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring that Axon's solutions are effectively implemented and adopted. Your role will require you to coordinate with various internal teams, including product development and customer support, to ensure that clients receive the highest level of service and support.

You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on sales metrics, providing insights into market trends and customer feedback to inform future strategies. Your ability to analyze data and make informed decisions will be crucial in driving success in this role.
