Block is seeking an Operations and Payment Partnerships Manager to enhance financial operations and partnerships. You'll work on developing infrastructure for efficient money movement across networks. This role requires experience in operations management and partnership development.
You have a strong background in operations management, ideally with experience in financial services or payment systems. You understand the complexities of moving money across different networks and markets, and you are skilled at developing partnerships that enhance operational efficiency. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify cost-effective solutions while ensuring security and scalability in financial operations.
You thrive in collaborative environments and have a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals. Your communication skills enable you to effectively engage with external partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and fostering strong relationships. You are adaptable and can navigate the evolving landscape of commerce and technology, always looking for innovative ways to improve processes.
Experience in the fintech industry or with payment processing systems would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with omnichannel solutions and integrated financial services is also desirable, as is a passion for helping businesses grow through effective financial operations.
In this role, you will lead the Financial Operations (FinOps) team at Block, focusing on developing infrastructure that facilitates efficient money movement. You will work closely with external partners to identify the best practices for moving money in a cost-effective and secure manner. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation of new financial tools and systems that enhance operational capabilities.
You will analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that our financial operations are scalable and forward-looking. Collaborating with product and engineering teams, you will help design solutions that meet the needs of our sellers and enhance their experience with our services. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of financial operations and making data-driven decisions to optimize processes.
Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned on operational goals. You will also be tasked with developing training materials and resources to support team members in understanding new systems and processes. As a key player in the organization, you will contribute to strategic discussions about the future of financial operations at Block.
