Fictiv is seeking a Product Designer to help innovate in hardware manufacturing. You'll work with Fictiv's digital manufacturing ecosystem to enhance product design and user experience. This role requires creativity and a growth mindset.
You are a Product Designer with a strong background in creating user-centered designs that enhance the overall experience of hardware products. You have experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to bring innovative ideas to life. Your creativity is matched by your ability to think critically about design challenges, and you thrive in environments that encourage experimentation and bold ideas. Experience with digital manufacturing processes or supply chain logistics is a plus. Familiarity with tools like Adobe XD or Sketch can enhance your design capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for Fictiv's digital manufacturing platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure that your designs are feasible and aligned with technical requirements. You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that will inform your design decisions. Your role will involve creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate your design concepts.
