What you'll do

In this role, you will own the product communications strategy for Codex and the OpenAI developer platform, ensuring that messaging is clear, authentic, and aligned with OpenAI's mission. You will lead the introduction of new developer tools and products through various channels, including launches, media outreach, and events. Your responsibilities will include crafting product narratives that highlight the benefits and features of OpenAI's offerings, thereby driving adoption and engagement among developers. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to understand the technical aspects of the products and translate them into compelling stories. Additionally, you will engage with the developer community through events and social media, fostering relationships that enhance trust and collaboration. Your role will also involve monitoring industry trends and competitor communications to inform your strategies and ensure OpenAI remains a leader in the space.
