Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth. You possess a 'hunter/closer' mentality, which means you thrive on prospecting and closing deals. Your ability to ask hard questions and provide honest feedback makes you a valuable team member. You understand the importance of collaboration and are committed to supporting your colleagues in achieving shared goals.

You are skilled in managing complex sales processes and have experience working with diverse teams, including business development and customer success. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on your sales targets.

Desirable

Experience in the tech industry, particularly in data streaming or related fields, would be a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools, especially Salesforce, will help you manage your sales pipeline effectively. You are data-driven and can analyze sales metrics to inform your strategies and decisions. A background in working with small and medium-sized enterprises is advantageous, as you understand their unique challenges and needs.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive at Confluent, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within large, diverse territories.
