SpaceX is hiring an NDE Inspector Level II to perform high-quality inspections of flight components and production assemblies for the Starship program. You'll utilize various nondestructive evaluation methods and collaborate with engineering teams. This role requires Nondestructive Evaluation Level II certification.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and possess a Nondestructive Evaluation Level II certification in line with ASNT TC-1A, NAS-410, or DOD guidance. Your expertise includes methods such as Eddy current, radiography, digital radiography, dye penetrant, visual inspection, computed radiography, phase array, and ultrasonic techniques. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a strong ability to interpret and evaluate engineering drawings. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are eager to support the development of inspection techniques for complex geometries.
As an NDE Inspector Level II at SpaceX, you will perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections, interpreting and evaluating findings to communicate effectively with production and engineering teams. You will support the development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries and assist in the research and development of system qualification and certification for critical processes. Additionally, you will play a key role in training and developing others on the team, ensuring high-quality inspections of flight components and production assemblies.
