Who you are

You are an experienced Technical Program Manager with a proven track record of leading complex projects across multiple teams. You have a strategic mindset and can navigate the intricacies of large-scale initiatives, ensuring alignment and collaboration among diverse engineering groups. Your ability to communicate effectively and foster relationships is key to your success in this role. You thrive in a remote-first environment and are comfortable working independently while also being a part of a collaborative team.

Desirable

Experience in open-source projects or familiarity with observability tools would be a plus. You are adaptable and open to utilizing AI tools to enhance recruitment processes and project management.

What you'll do

In this role, you will orchestrate the delivery of complex, multi-year initiatives that span across the entire engineering organization at Grafana Labs. You will serve as the strategic leader, guiding teams through the planning and execution phases of projects. Your responsibilities will include defining project scopes, setting timelines, and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process. You will also be responsible for identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met and that the final deliverables align with Grafana's mission and values. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of transparency, autonomy, and trust within the teams you manage. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and helping them grow in their careers.
