Overview

Showpad is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead their EMEA sales strategy from London. You'll focus on revenue growth, customer retention, and team development. This role requires strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, ideally within the technology or SaaS sectors. With at least 10 years of experience, you understand the intricacies of managing sales teams across diverse markets, particularly in the EMEA region. Your strategic mindset allows you to set ambitious yet achievable sales targets, and you thrive in environments where you can drive significant revenue growth. You are adept at building strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment and collaboration across functions.

Your leadership style is characterized by a commitment to coaching and developing talent. You believe in empowering your team members to take ownership of their roles, fostering an environment where they can excel and contribute to the company's success. You are data-driven, using analytics to inform your decisions and strategies, and you have a deep understanding of customer growth and retention metrics.

Desirable

Experience in a Private Equity-owned company is a plus, as is familiarity with EBITDA-focused strategies. You are comfortable navigating the complexities of financial growth strategies and can effectively communicate these concepts to your team and stakeholders. A background in technology sales, particularly in the SaaS space, will give you an edge in understanding the products and services you will be selling.

What you'll do

As the Vice President of Sales for EMEA, you will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy for the region. You will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to establish operational cadences and ensure that your team is aligned with the company's overall goals. Your primary focus will be on driving new logo acquisition and expanding existing customer accounts, particularly within the Mid Market and Enterprise segments.

You will lead a team of Front-Line Managers, providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed. This includes coaching them on best practices for sales management, helping them develop their teams, and ensuring that they are equipped to meet their targets. You will also play a critical role in fostering cross-functional collaboration, working with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless go-to-market approach.

In this role, you will be expected to analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine your sales strategies continually. You will leverage data to track performance metrics and adjust your approach as needed to maximize revenue growth. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, will be essential to your success.

What we offer

Showpad is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered. We offer competitive compensation packages, including performance-based bonuses and opportunities for professional development. You will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will directly impact the company's growth trajectory. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
