Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Legal and Compliance Analyst to assist in managing regulatory compliance procedures and support legal investigations. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to draft and manage legal documents.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and possess a solid understanding of legal and compliance matters, particularly in the aerospace sector. Your experience includes developing and executing processes to manage regulatory compliance procedures, and you are adept at organizing detailed notes and records for easy reference. You have a knack for coordinating with internal teams to draft communications and manage legal documents, ensuring that everything is meticulously organized.

You are skilled in advising and educating internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters, and you thrive in cross-functional team environments. Your ability to negotiate and track Non-Disclosure Agreements showcases your attention to detail and commitment to compliance. You are comfortable handling insurance-related tasks and have experience in litigation assistance and contract management.

Desirable

Experience in aerospace regulatory compliance or environmental regulation would be a plus, as would familiarity with corporate policies and regulatory filings. You are proactive in seeking improvements for existing programs and enjoy supporting legal functions with various tasks.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assist in developing and executing processes to manage regulatory compliance procedures at SpaceX's Spaceport. You will lead and support investigations into legal matters, ensuring that all documentation is organized and accessible for follow-up. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with internal teams to draft communications for attorney review and managing legal documents, including corporate documents and regulatory filings.

You will also advise and train internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters, supporting cross-functional teams in areas such as aerospace regulatory compliance and environmental regulation. Your role will involve negotiating and tracking Non-Disclosure Agreements, as well as producing templates for corporate policies. Additionally, you will handle insurance-related tasks, including claims processing, and provide general support to the legal team with litigation assistance and contract management.
