Asana is seeking a Pricing Strategy Director to lead the monetization strategy and execution for their offerings. You'll collaborate with various teams to enhance customer value and drive revenue growth. This role requires strong strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills.
You have extensive experience in pricing strategy and monetization, ideally with a background in SaaS or technology products. You understand how to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective pricing models that drive revenue growth. Your ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance is essential, as you will be the bridge connecting these departments to ensure alignment on pricing strategies. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform your decisions, ensuring that pricing reflects the value delivered to customers. You possess strong leadership skills and can influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, driving initiatives that enhance customer experience and business performance.
Experience in a high-growth technology company is a plus, as is familiarity with product packaging and positioning. You may have a background in finance or operations, which would further enhance your ability to execute complex pricing strategies effectively. A passion for improving team productivity and collaboration through innovative pricing solutions is also desirable.
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of Asana's pricing and packaging strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the company's overall business objectives. You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand the value of new features and offerings, translating that into pricing strategies that resonate with customers. You will work with Sales and Marketing to communicate pricing changes effectively and ensure that the sales team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to convey value to customers. Your role will involve analyzing competitive pricing strategies and market trends to keep Asana's offerings competitive and appealing. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of pricing strategies and making adjustments as necessary to optimize revenue and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will engage with Customer Research and Data Science teams to gather insights that inform pricing decisions, ensuring that customer feedback is integrated into the pricing strategy.
