You have 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, particularly in software testing for complex systems. Your background includes developing and executing comprehensive test strategies and plans, ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards before release. You are a subject matter expert in Smart TV domains, including application ecosystems and connectivity, and you understand the intricacies of quality assurance in this space.

You are proficient in various testing tools and methodologies, including Selenium and JUnit, and you have a strong foundation in programming with Java. Your analytical skills allow you to identify potential issues early in the development process, and you are committed to championing improvements in testing scope and methodology. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products.

Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools is a plus, as is familiarity with Agile methodologies. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end software testing efforts for Roku's Smart TV features, from design validation to production release. You will develop and review comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases, ensuring that all aspects of the product are thoroughly tested. Your expertise will guide the team in championing improvements to testing methodologies and practices, enhancing the overall quality of the products.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable test cases. Your role will involve executing tests, analyzing results, and reporting findings to the development team. You will also participate in design reviews and provide feedback on potential quality issues early in the development cycle.
