Posh is seeking a Head of Engineering to drive the technology behind their mission of fostering human connection through shared social experiences. You'll lead the engineering team and establish a culture that supports rapid growth. This role requires significant leadership experience in engineering.
You are a seasoned engineering leader with a proven track record of driving technical strategy and execution. You have experience in scaling engineering teams and establishing a strong engineering culture that fosters collaboration and innovation. You understand the importance of human connection and are passionate about using technology to enhance social experiences. You have a strong background in software development and are comfortable guiding architectural decisions while remaining close to the work. You are adept at mentoring engineers and helping them grow in their careers, ensuring that the team achieves world-class engineering outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the technical strategy behind Posh's mission to connect people through shared interests. You will lead the engineering team as it scales from 20 to over 100 engineers, establishing processes and practices that promote efficiency and quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the platform meets the needs of users and supports the company's growth objectives. You will set the pace for the team, guiding architectural decisions and ensuring that the engineering culture aligns with Posh's values.
