HTML/CSS Data Training Technical QA Lead (US-only)

Who you are

You have a strong background in HTML and CSS, with experience in quality assurance roles that focus on front-end technologies. Your attention to detail ensures that the content you review meets high standards of correctness, semantic markup, and responsiveness. You are comfortable providing constructive feedback and escalating critical issues when necessary. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively share updates and clarifications with a global community of contributors. You are proactive in managing activation, reaching out to inactive contributors, and identifying blockers to encourage re-engagement. Your organizational skills enable you to create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including style guides and review checklists, that supports the quality assurance process. You are also experienced in onboarding and training new team members, ensuring they understand the quality standards expected in front-end projects.

Desirable

Experience with AI data training projects or similar environments is a plus. Familiarity with accessibility fundamentals and performance considerations in web development will enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the quality assurance efforts for HTML/CSS tasks related to AI data training projects. You will conduct thorough code quality reviews, assessing submissions for correctness and alignment with project guidelines. Your evaluations will focus on layout structure, CSS organization, and accessibility fundamentals to ensure high-quality examples are produced. You will communicate regularly with trainers and QAs via Discord, providing timely responses to questions and updates on project changes. You will monitor the activity of trainers and QAs, identifying any blockers and encouraging re-engagement among contributors. Additionally, you will create and maintain essential documentation that supports the quality assurance process, including style guides and FAQs. You will also be responsible for scheduling and conducting onboarding sessions for new trainers and QAs, covering front-end quality standards and common issues.
