Job Description

Ring and Blink are seeking a Senior Operations Program Manager to spearhead projects developing next-generation safety and security products in Smart Lighting, Sensing, Gateway, and Accessories. The ideal candidate will excel at leading Contract Manufacturer (CM) projects, implementing creative solutions, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for an innovative problem-solver who thrives under pressure, builds strong team relationships, and embodies Amazon's Leadership Principles. This role requires a unique blend of operational excellence and creative thinking to drive the future of our smart home security offerings.

Key job responsibilities
• Program Management: Drive manufacturing operational readiness and project management across factories, optimizing efficiency throughout the product lifecycle from PVT to EOL.

• Product Development Support: Facilitate product maturity and design for manufacturing during NPI, while managing engineering and manufacturing change requests in SEA CM factories during MP stage.

• Supply Chain Oversight: Monitor CM production, supply, and fulfillment, mitigating operational risks and ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. Oversee line bring-ups, qualifications, material availability, and quality issues.

• Performance Management: Collaborate with CM partners to meet or exceed KPIs in on-time delivery, quality, flexibility, and throughput/UPH.

• SEA CM Capability Enhancement: Develop transferred programs in SEA CMs, conduct 5M1E reviews, drive CM readiness, and enhance overall site maturity for both NPI and MP stages. Support automation capability improvement and supply chain localization.

• Capacity and Resource Management: Monitor and align actual line capacity, manpower, and manufacturing resources with production targets in SEA factories.

• Testing and Cost Management: Oversee on-site testing fixture qualification and status. Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and efficiency in SEA CMs' operations.

You'll join a diverse and talented team developing innovative lighting, sensor, gateway, and accessory products for our Doorbell and Camera systems, enhancing the experience for our Neighbors. Our multidisciplinary group of product managers and engineers is dedicated to rapidly delivering cutting-edge products to market.

About the team
The RBKS Accessories Operations team, based in Shenzhen and Taipei, encompasses Product Operation Management, Factory Operation Program Management, Business OEM, Materials Management, PO & Fulfillment, and Quality Management. Our focus is on Ring Smart Lights, Sensors, Gateway, and Doorbell & Camera Accessories.

By excelling in these areas, we aim to optimally position our products and simplify purchase decisions, ensuring our customers always feel at home with our solutions.• 5+ years of program management experience in electronics products
• Proven experience in retail store customer management
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in understanding new product specifications and implementing them with suppliers
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage meetings and facilitate discussions
• Experience in improving manufacturing process efficiency
• Skill in optimizing cross-team processes to enhance team efficacy and delivery
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely (e.g., functional requirements, design specifications, project roadmaps, PR/FAQ)
• Experience presenting decisions to senior leadership (up to 3 tiers above level)
• Familiarity with cross-functional communication (e.g., legal, regulatory, finance, PR, external industry groups)

The candidate should be adept at bridging communication between suppliers and engineering teams, and be trusted to drive both detailed discussions and high-level alignment across diverse areas of the organization.• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Contract Manufacturers' (CMs) production and quality processes
• In-depth understanding of quality management systems
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
• Demonstrated skill in identifying and mitigating potential risks in manufacturing processes
