PatSnap is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join their Client Success team in Singapore. You'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, focusing on renewals and expansion. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a strategic mindset.
You have a proven track record in account management, ideally with experience in managing enterprise-level clients. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders is key to your success. You understand the importance of maximizing value for clients and are skilled at identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering exceptional client experiences. You are results-driven and have a strategic mindset that allows you to navigate complex organizational structures effectively.
Experience in the technology or SaaS industry is a plus, as is familiarity with intellectual property and research & development workflows. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities. A background in sales or business development would also be beneficial, as it complements your account management skills.
As a Strategic Account Manager at PatSnap, you will own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts. Your primary focus will be on renewals and expansion, ensuring that clients derive maximum value from our platform. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and help them optimize their IP and R&D workflows. This role involves approximately 60% expansion and strategic new business within existing accounts, and 40% focused on renewals and account retention. You will be responsible for developing account plans, conducting regular business reviews, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our solutions.
You will collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, product, and customer support, to ensure that client needs are met and that they are satisfied with our services. Your ability to communicate effectively and advocate for your clients will be crucial in this role. You will also track account performance metrics and report on progress to senior management, helping to shape the overall strategy for client success.
