Your expertise includes working with AWS, where you have experience managing production environments and ensuring scalability and stability. You are familiar with PDF rendering technologies and understand how to integrate third-party templating systems into your workflows. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy blending backend engineering with product design to create user-friendly interfaces for configuring and monitoring reporting workflows.

What you'll do

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Ridgeline, you will lead the design and development of the Reporting Workflow systems that generate pixel-perfect PDF investment statements for our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that these systems operate efficiently under varying loads while maintaining high standards of data integrity and performance. You will influence the architecture of our systems, making critical decisions that impact the scalability and reliability of our reporting workflows.

You will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them navigate complex engineering challenges. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications that drive the development process. You will also work closely with product designers to create intuitive UI surfaces that allow users to configure and monitor their reporting workflows effectively.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices. You will help evolve our systems during a period of rapid growth, ensuring that they can adapt to the changing needs of our clients and the market.
