Minitab is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their sales organization. You'll engage with leads to assess their needs and generate revenue opportunities. This entry-level role offers a clear path for career advancement in technology sales.
You are a motivated and goal-oriented individual looking to build a career in technology sales. With an associate degree or equivalent experience, you possess strong communication skills and a desire to learn and grow within a supportive environment. As a Business Development Representative at Minitab, you will work within an assigned geographic region and/or industry vertical to generate pipeline and revenue opportunities. Your responsibilities will include qualifying both inbound leads and outbound campaign contacts to identify their business needs and interest in Minitab's statistical analysis software products and services. You will conduct outbound prospecting through phone outreach, email, and marketing campaigns, while building and maintaining relationships with future buyers who require long-term nurturing. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams will be essential to improve lead quality and conversion rates. You will also maintain accurate activity and prospect information within CRM tools and work toward achieving monthly and quarterly performance goals related to lead qualification and pipeline contribution.
