Who you are

You hold a PhD in a relevant quantitative field and bring over a year of independent research experience. Your proficiency in R, Python, SAS, or Stata allows you to analyze data effectively, and you have a solid understanding of WWC and ESSA standards of research rigor. You communicate technical findings clearly and effectively, making complex data accessible to diverse audiences. Collaboration is key for you, as you work well across teams and disciplines, adapting to evolving responsibilities based on business needs. You are committed to contributing to impactful educational solutions and are eager to engage in thought leadership through conference presentations and other avenues.

What you'll do

As a Research Scientist at Edmentum, you will contribute to the design and execution of rigorous studies using experimental, quasi-experimental, and mixed methods designs. Your role will involve analyzing data using advanced statistical techniques and software, ensuring that the research supports Edmentum’s mission to deliver effective educational solutions. You will collaborate with districts, vendors, universities, and internal teams to gather insights and data necessary for your research. Additionally, you will prepare research briefs, technical documents, and presentations to communicate your findings. Engaging in thought leadership through conference presentations and participation in Technical Advisory Committees (TAC) will also be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to share your expertise and contribute to the broader educational community.
