Google is seeking a Senior Field Sales Representative for the Public Sector to drive cloud solutions and business growth. You'll leverage your extensive experience in B2B sales and account management to engage with public sector clients in Canberra.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. Your background includes promoting cloud solutions and infrastructure software, particularly within the public sector, where you have successfully aligned solutions to motivate business outcomes. You are skilled in growing an existing customer base and acquiring new business, demonstrating your ability to increase spend and accelerate business growth.
Your experience extends to business and legal negotiations, where you have worked closely with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams. You have a proven track record of collaborating with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estates, define migration plans, and build compelling migration business cases. Cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives is second nature to you, and you excel in leading cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and business agreement discussions.
In this role, you will manage business cycles, presenting to C-level executives and discussing terms that drive business development. You will own operational excellence at scale, forecast accurately, and achieve goals by guiding customers through the entire business cycle. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with multiple teams and Google partners to improve business impact within Public Sector customers. You will be instrumental in helping customers transform and build what's next for their business, leveraging technology built in the cloud to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
You will also be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that align with Google Cloud's mission, ensuring that public sector clients are equipped with the right tools and solutions to meet their unique challenges. Your role will require you to stay abreast of industry trends and customer needs, allowing you to tailor your approach and solutions effectively. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development and service delivery, enhancing the overall customer experience.
