What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with Appian's Product and Engineering teams throughout the entire development lifecycle—from ideation to launch. You will provide legal guidance on product features and functionalities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for assessing legal risks associated with new technologies and product offerings, and you will develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Your role will involve drafting and reviewing legal documents, policies, and procedures related to product development. You will also engage with cross-functional teams to educate them on legal requirements and best practices, fostering a culture of compliance within the organization. Additionally, you will stay updated on emerging legal trends and regulations that may impact Appian's products and services, ensuring that the company remains proactive in its approach to legal compliance.
