Plain is seeking a Senior Product Designer to redefine customer support for B2B companies. You'll work on feature ideation, design, and collaboration with teams and customers using tools like Figma. This role requires strong design skills and a passion for user experience.
You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered designs that solve real problems. You are proficient in Figma and understand the importance of collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer support. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable taking ownership of projects from ideation to execution. You have a keen eye for detail and are passionate about creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. You enjoy working closely with customers to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on their needs. You are adaptable and open to wearing many hats in a startup environment, embracing the challenges that come with building a product from the ground up.
As a Senior Product Designer at Plain, you will be responsible for defining the next phase of support tooling. You will work on everything from early feature ideation to designing and shipping features, ensuring that your designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly. You will collaborate closely with the entire team, including engineers and product managers, to create sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity mocks in Figma. You will measure the success of your designs based on user feedback and engagement, rather than just what is presented in Figma. You will help set the roadmap and priorities for design initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall company goals. You will also be involved in launching features and communicating their value to customers through landing pages and other marketing materials. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve the user experience and drive customer satisfaction.
