Amazon is hiring a FinOps Specialist to support the Cash application process within the Global Accounts Receivable team. You'll ensure timely and accurate application of payments while providing excellent service to customers. This role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.
You are a proactive and customer-centric individual with a strong focus on supporting the cash application process. You possess excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all company policies are adhered to while providing exceptional service to customers and stakeholders. You are adept at analyzing data to uncover patterns and opportunities for accounts receivable optimization and performance improvement.
You have experience in preparing reports on cash movements and month-end reporting, and you are comfortable creating and implementing strategies to increase the percentage of timely payment applications. You are willing to supervise, train, and guide team members, fostering a collaborative environment that drives results.
Experience in cash application processes and familiarity with industry best practices would be beneficial. You are open to creating and implementing standard operating procedures and quality guidelines to enhance team performance.
In this role, you will be an expert in the cash application processes, providing guidance and expertise to your team. You will prepare reporting on cash movements and contribute to the Monthly Business Review process by reporting on the progress of the Cash Application function to senior leadership. You will analyze data to help uncover patterns and root causes, organizing your findings into compelling business cases for optimization.
You will support the creation and implementation of strategies aimed at improving the efficiency of payment applications. Your role will involve communicating internally and externally to identify issues and propose long-term solutions for process sustainability. You will also develop a plan for cross-training and work shadowing within your team to ensure the best results for customers.
