Overview

Databricks is seeking a Greenfield Account Executive to acquire new customers in Germany. You'll develop territory strategies and implement prospecting campaigns to drive growth. This role requires a strong understanding of data and AI technology.

Who you are

You have a strong understanding of the data and AI landscape, and you are passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems. Your sales experience has been gained in high-growth environments, where you've demonstrated your ability to close new opportunities and guide customers through their initial successes. You thrive in a role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and you are eager to develop a successful territory strategy within your first month.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey the value of Databricks' offerings to clients and partners. Your enthusiasm for data and AI technology drives you to stay informed about industry trends and innovations, enabling you to engage customers meaningfully. You are results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.

Desirable

Experience working with system integrators, ISVs, and cloud partners is a plus, as is familiarity with consumption sales models. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to build effective data and AI strategies for customers.

What you'll do

In your role as a Greenfield Account Executive at Databricks, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and driving growth in your territory. You will develop a successful territory strategy within your first 30 days, focusing on identifying and activating new customer opportunities. Your role will involve implementing prospecting campaigns in partnership with your Business Development Representative, ensuring a steady pipeline of potential clients.

You will guide customers through their initial decision-making processes and help them achieve their first business outcomes using the Databricks Platform. This involves understanding their unique needs and demonstrating how Databricks can deliver value. You will work closely with system integrators and cloud partners to support customers in building robust data and AI strategies.

Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets, driving accelerated growth in a consumption sales model. You will collaborate with various teams within Databricks to ensure that customers receive the support they need to succeed.
