Amazon Air Cargo is looking for an experienced, self-starter Sr. Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive adoption of AIR's business-to-business (B2B) Air Cargo offering as an individual contributor. This is an exciting opportunity to drive exponential growth by building and scaling net new customer relationships.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive strategic customer acquisition and relationship development for air cargo services
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies targeting potential clients
- Create compelling value propositions and presentations that demonstrate our unique cargo capabilities
- Manage complex sales pipelines and coordinate cross-functional initiatives
- Analyze market trends and identify emerging business opportunities

Your day will be dynamic and collaborative, focused on building meaningful connections with potential customers. You'll craft compelling presentations, explore innovative solutions, and engage with business leaders to showcase how our air cargo services can transform their logistics strategies. Each interaction is an opportunity to understand unique business challenges and demonstrate the value of our solutions.

About the team

We're committed to developing cutting-edge solutions that make global commerce more efficient, sustainable, and interconnected.- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years experience in business development, sales, or related fields
- Demonstrated success in customer prospecting and relationship management
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets using consultative approaches
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships across organizational levels- Advanced degree (MBA preferred)
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation industries
- Strong understanding of business development cycles
- Proven track record in building B2B focused businesses
- Experience in entrepreneurial and fast-paced environments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
