Phoenix is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to shape their data ecosystem and build scalable data pipelines. You'll work with PostgreSQL, Lightdash, and Supermetrics to optimize marketing spend decisions. This role requires 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
You have 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, bringing a strong technical expertise combined with a deep understanding of data flows that influence performance marketing and ad attribution. You are analytical and possess a business mindset, allowing you to connect data insights with real-world outcomes. As the first Senior Data Engineer at Phoenix Digital, you are excited about the opportunity to shape the data ecosystem and advocate for modern tooling and best practices. Experience with data modeling and machine learning use cases is a plus, as well as familiarity with various data sources and analytics tools. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that connect advertisers to drive marketing spend decisions. You will work with multiple data sources, including PostgreSQL databases and ad performance data from Supermetrics, to create clean, modular data models that serve analytics and product insights. Your responsibilities will include optimizing data pipelines for reliability and performance, ensuring data integrity and security, and mentoring junior team members. You will also advocate for best practices in data engineering and contribute to the overall strategy of the data team.
