Box is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to enhance their Intelligent Content Management platform. You'll work with Java and Kubernetes to drive the development of Box's Platform as a Service (PaaS). This position requires significant experience in software engineering.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building scalable applications and services. Your expertise in Java allows you to develop robust backend systems that support high-volume transactions and complex workflows. You are familiar with Kubernetes and understand how to leverage container orchestration for deploying applications efficiently.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle challenges head-on, and you have a keen eye for optimizing performance and reliability in production systems.

Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS) architectures is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise content management systems. You may also have exposure to AI technologies and how they can be integrated into software solutions to enhance user experiences.
As a Senior Software Engineer at Box, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Intelligent Content Management platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing features that improve collaboration and streamline business workflows for our clients. Your work will involve developing backend services using Java and deploying them on our Kubernetes-based PaaS.
You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your contributions will directly impact how organizations manage their content and workflows, making a significant difference in their operational efficiency.
You will also participate in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the codebase remains maintainable and scalable. Your mentorship will help junior engineers grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team.
