We are seeking a bar-raising, customer-obsessed software engineer who demonstrates deep technical expertise and a relentless drive to innovate. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance distributed systems, with hands-on experience in service-oriented architectures. You should be a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, can rapidly prototype solutions, and consistently delivers high-quality code that meets Amazon's rigorous standards. Your ability to lead cross-functional teams, make data-driven decisions, and solve complex technical challenges will be critical to success in this role. If you are passionate about building transformative technology and have the technical depth to dive deep into intricate system design, we want you to help us continue inventing on behalf of our customers.- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
