Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the preparation of all SEC filings, ensuring that they are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory requirements. You will own the technical accounting policy for Faire, guiding the organization in adhering to US GAAP standards and best practices. Your leadership will be crucial in preparing the company to operate at public company standards, and you will play a key role in shaping the financial reporting landscape of the organization.

You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Finance and Legal, to ensure that all financial reporting aligns with the company's strategic goals. Your ability to translate complex accounting concepts into actionable insights will be vital in supporting decision-making at the executive level. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence within the accounting department.

As the Director of Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting, you will stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards, proactively adapting the company's practices to ensure ongoing compliance. You will lead initiatives to improve financial reporting processes, leveraging technology and data to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
