Google is seeking a Head of Sales for their Emerging Cluster in APAC to drive international growth and develop insight-driven narratives for high-growth sectors. This role requires 5+ years of experience in technology sales and team management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in technology sales, working with customers in a sales role, or in international business operations and strategy planning. Your background includes 2 years of experience managing a team and coaching teams in sales, strategy consulting, or account management. You possess a deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystems and are committed to leveraging AI to drive innovations in client solutions, business insights, and work processes. You thrive in multicultural environments and have a keen understanding of market nuances in emerging regions. Your ability to influence senior sales leadership and drive alignment across cross-functional teams is a key strength. You are comfortable working in ambiguity and can lead teams through market volatility with an entrepreneurial and goal-oriented mindset.
Experience developing insight-driven narratives for high-growth sectors such as gaming/apps, fintech, education, or health care is preferred. You bring a passion for sales and knowledge of online media, with a commitment to maximizing customer success. You act like an owner, moving with velocity through change and finding innovative and strategic ways to consistently deliver extraordinary and incremental outcomes for both Google and your customers.
In this role, you will act as the primary liaison to senior sales leadership, aligning cross-functional partnerships and regional market focus to drive business growth. You will oversee the creation of actionable, business-driving growth narratives and scalable solutions that enable the Future Giants cohort to succeed in diverse international markets. Your responsibilities will include building trusted relationships with customers, uncovering their business needs, and translating them into powerful solutions to achieve their goals. You will lead teams through market volatility, ensuring that your strategies are adaptable and effective in a rapidly changing environment. You will also be responsible for coaching and developing your team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
