RF Hardware Reliability Engineer (Starshield)

Who you are

You have a strong background in hardware engineering with a focus on reliability — your experience includes hardware bring-up, characterization, and qualification testing, ensuring that products meet stringent reliability standards. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable tackling previously unsolved problems with innovative solutions. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can think at a system level, collaborating effectively with cross-disciplinary teams to drive improvements in product design and processes.

You are detail-oriented and take extreme ownership of your work — you understand the importance of rigorous testing and validation in the hardware lifecycle, from production to orbit. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly makes you a valuable team member, as you work closely with engineers from various disciplines to ensure the success of the Starshield program. Desirable

Experience with RF systems or satellite technology is a plus, as is familiarity with national security applications. What you'll do

As an RF Hardware Reliability Engineer on the Starshield team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of hardware throughout its lifecycle. You will conduct detailed hardware bring-up and characterization, performing qualification testing to validate designs against rigorous standards. Your role will involve driving improvements to existing processes and controls, ensuring that all hardware meets the necessary reliability requirements before deployment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and testing, to identify and resolve issues early in the development process. Your ability to think critically and explore innovative solutions will be essential as you tackle complex challenges in hardware design and reliability. You will also be involved in documenting test results and providing feedback to enhance product performance and reliability.
