Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with experience in SQL and Python — you've used these skills to create impactful dashboards and reports that inform decision-making across teams. Your analytical mindset allows you to explore opportunities for improving and automating analyses, ensuring that stakeholders receive timely and relevant insights.

You thrive in collaborative environments, regularly meeting with company stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data products — your communication skills enable you to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for identifying trends and patterns in data that others might overlook.

You are comfortable working with various data visualization tools, such as Tableau, to present your findings in an engaging way — your ability to tell a story with data helps drive strategic decisions within the organization. You are proactive in seeking out new methodologies and technologies to enhance your analytical capabilities, always looking for ways to improve your work processes.

Desirable

Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques is a plus — you understand how to apply these methods to derive deeper insights from data. Familiarity with HR metrics and people analytics will help you align your work with the goals of the People Analytics team.

What you'll do

As a Data Scientist on the People Analytics team at Qualtrics, you will be responsible for leveraging people data to provide insights that drive strategic decisions across the company. You will create and disseminate dashboards and reports that highlight key metrics and trends, ensuring that decision-makers have access to the information they need.

You will explore opportunities for improving and automating analyses, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored data products. Your role will involve regular meetings with various teams to gather requirements and provide updates on your findings, fostering a collaborative approach to data-driven decision-making.

In addition to creating visual and statistical data products, you will also be tasked with calibrating existing analyses to ensure accuracy and relevance — your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of the data you work with. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior analysts and contribute to the overall growth of the People Analytics team.

What we offer

At Qualtrics, you will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and collaboration — we encourage you to take strategic risks and think outside the box as you work on complex problems. You will have access to growth opportunities that will help you advance your career while making a meaningful impact on the organization.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with a supportive work environment that fosters professional development. Join us in our mission to bring humanity, connection, and empathy back to business, and be part of a team that is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for our clients.
