Who you are

You have a strong background in internal controls and compliance, with a focus on business and accounting processes. You understand the importance of governance and have experience in identifying risks and designing effective controls. Your analytical skills allow you to test process reliability and promote a control-aware culture within the organization. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Finance, Operations, and Legal, to ensure that the company operates in alignment with regulatory expectations and best practices.

Desirable

Experience in the fintech industry is a plus, as is familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to financial services. You are proactive in your approach to compliance and have a track record of implementing successful control measures that support business growth while maintaining integrity and safety.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening CloudWalk’s governance framework and ensuring that all business processes are consistent and reliable. You will work closely with various teams to identify potential risks and design controls that mitigate those risks effectively. Your role will involve testing the reliability of processes and ensuring that they align with regulatory expectations. You will also promote a culture of compliance and control awareness throughout the organization, helping to scale these practices as the company grows.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to ensure that compliance is integrated into the business strategy. This includes conducting regular assessments of existing processes and controls, providing recommendations for improvements, and ensuring that all teams are equipped with the knowledge and tools they need to maintain compliance. You will also be involved in training and educating staff on compliance matters, fostering an environment where compliance is seen as a strategic partner rather than a blocker.
