Overview

Placemakr is seeking a General Manager to lead operations and drive excellence across their property in Pittsburgh. This role requires strong leadership skills and a real estate license in Pennsylvania.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in operational leadership, ideally within the hospitality or real estate sectors. Your experience includes managing teams and driving performance to achieve operational and budgetary goals. You are a strong communicator who can motivate and engage your team, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.

You understand the importance of collaboration and have experience working with diverse teams, both in-person and remotely. Your ability to adapt to changing business needs and lead through challenges is a key strength. You are committed to fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and development for all team members.

You possess a valid real estate license in Pennsylvania or are willing to obtain one within the first six months of employment. This demonstrates your commitment to the role and understanding of the real estate landscape in which Placemakr operates.

Desirable

Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus, as is familiarity with property management systems and technology that enhances guest experiences. You are data-driven and can leverage metrics to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

What you'll do

As the General Manager at Placemakr, you will oversee the daily operations of the property, ensuring that both residents and guests have a seamless experience. You will lead a team of property staff, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles. Your focus will be on operational excellence, from managing budgets to optimizing processes that enhance guest satisfaction.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive occupancy and revenue growth. This includes collaborating with marketing and sales teams to promote the property and attract new guests. You will also work closely with property operators and developers to ensure that the property meets the highest standards of quality and service.

In this role, you will analyze performance metrics and use data to make informed decisions that improve operations. You will conduct regular team meetings to align on goals and share updates, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

You will also be involved in training and developing your team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional service. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
