Samsara is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and understanding their unique needs. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes, negotiating pricing, and building relationships with multiple stakeholders. You thrive in a role that requires high energy and the ability to communicate the value of technology solutions effectively. You are comfortable working remotely and can adapt to different time zones, particularly EST and CST. You are motivated by the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company and are excited about the potential of IoT technology to transform industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's Connected Operations™ Cloud to mid-sized customers. You will engage with executives and CXOs, presenting the benefits of sensor data and how it can improve their operations. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts, trials, and multi-faceted pricing negotiations. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure that you have the right tools and resources to succeed. Your role will involve approximately 25% travel to meet with clients and prospects, allowing you to build strong relationships and understand their needs firsthand. You will also be responsible for tracking your sales activities and reporting on your progress to ensure that you meet your targets.
