Stripe is hiring a Corporate Paralegal to support the Global Corporate Subsidiaries Operations Team. You'll help manage entities and build processes within a fast-paced fintech environment. This role requires experience in corporate law and familiarity with data management tools.
You have a background in corporate law and experience working as a paralegal, ideally in a fast-paced fintech environment. You possess a positive attitude and a collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-oriented atmosphere. Your curiosity to learn and passion for the subject matter drive you to enhance operational efficiency. You are either a licensed Notary Public or willing to obtain a Notary Public License, showcasing your commitment to professional development. Proficiency in working with data management portals like Blueprint, as well as board portals such as Diligent and BoardVantage, is essential for success in this role.
In this role, you will be instrumental in building processes and systems to support and manage entities within Stripe’s growing global subsidiary portfolio. You will oversee board and entity management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies. Your responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing corporate documents, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations. You will also assist in the preparation of board meeting materials and ensure timely filings with regulatory bodies. Your role will require you to stay updated on changes in corporate governance and compliance regulations, allowing you to provide valuable insights to the team. You will collaborate closely with legal counsel and other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
