Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to support AWS global infrastructure. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting facility events and managing contractors. This role requires familiarity with AWS operations.
You are a motivated individual eager to contribute to the operational excellence of AWS data centers. With a foundational understanding of data center operations, you are ready to assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events while adhering to internal Service Level Agreements (SLA). You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively manage on-site contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with established practices and local legislation. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists to drive innovation and reduce operational costs.
Experience in facilities management or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with performance metrics and key performance indicators. You are open to learning and growing within the role, embracing the challenges that come with maintaining AWS's high standards for safety and security.
In this role, you will be tasked with driving innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities.
