Benchling is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to define and execute the go-to-market strategy for their Research phase in biotechnology. You'll focus on positioning Benchling as the platform of choice for data-driven discovery in biotech. This role requires a blend of scientific knowledge and marketing expertise.
You have a strong background in product marketing, ideally within the biotechnology or life sciences sector, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear and compelling narratives sets you apart. You possess a deep understanding of the biotech lifecycle, particularly in research and modalities, and can effectively communicate with scientists, R&D leaders, and IT stakeholders. Your strategic mindset allows you to define positioning and segmentation that resonates with target audiences. You are skilled in developing enablement materials that empower sales teams and enhance customer experience. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at leading go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and revenue growth.
Experience with molecular biology, cell engineering, and emerging modalities like biologics and RNA therapies would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with data-driven marketing strategies and tools is also beneficial. You have a track record of successfully launching products and driving market penetration in competitive landscapes.
In this role, you will define and execute Benchling’s go-to-market strategy for the Research phase of the biotech lifecycle. You will focus on positioning Benchling as the preferred platform for modern, data-driven discovery. Your responsibilities will include translating scientific and technical capabilities into clear, differentiated messaging and content that resonates with various stakeholders. You will lead the development of enablement materials, such as customer stories and competitive insights, to equip the Sales and Customer Experience teams. You will collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure alignment on product features and market needs. Your role will involve analyzing market trends and customer feedback to refine messaging and positioning continuously. You will also be responsible for driving adoption and revenue growth through effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
