SpaceX is hiring an RF/Microwave Engineer to develop next-generation RFICs for space and ground infrastructures. You'll work on cutting-edge technologies that enable connectivity globally. This role requires expertise in RF and microwave engineering.
You are a motivated and proactive RF/Microwave Engineer with a strong background in silicon engineering. You have experience developing RFICs and are intellectually curious about the technologies that enable connectivity in challenging environments. You thrive in cross-disciplinary teams, collaborating with systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation, and product engineering to deliver innovative solutions. Your passion for space exploration and technology drives you to contribute to projects that have a global impact. You understand the complexities of RF and microwave systems and are eager to tackle the challenges of deploying advanced technologies in space and ground infrastructures.
Experience with satellite communication systems or broadband technologies is a plus. Familiarity with testing and validation processes for RF components will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team. A background in working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment will help you excel in this role.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge RFICs that are crucial for SpaceX's Starlink project. You will work closely with a team of engineers to design, build, and test these components, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards required for deployment in space. Your work will directly contribute to expanding the performance and capabilities of Starlink, enabling connectivity in areas previously underserved by traditional internet services. You will engage in hands-on testing and validation of RF components, collaborating with other engineering disciplines to integrate these solutions into larger systems. You will also participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies.
