Overview

SpaceX is hiring a BAW Device Engineer to develop and improve XBAW resonators and support filter designs. You'll perform FEM simulations and work with cutting-edge RF filter technology. This role requires expertise in MEMS and RF engineering.

Who you are

You have a strong background in hardware engineering, particularly in developing RF filters and resonators. Your experience includes performing FEM simulations and working with MEMS technology, which is crucial for optimizing resonator performance. You understand the intricacies of piezoelectric materials and their applications in advanced filter designs. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about contributing to innovative technologies that enable global connectivity and space exploration.

You possess a collaborative mindset, working effectively with cross-functional teams to drive projects from conception to execution. Your problem-solving skills allow you to tackle complex engineering challenges, and you are comfortable with hands-on work in a lab setting. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards in your engineering practices.

Desirable

Experience with XBAW technology or similar RF filter technologies would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with satellite communication systems and their requirements can enhance your contributions to the team. What you'll do

As a BAW Device Engineer at SpaceX, you will play a critical role in the development and improvement of XBAW resonators. Your primary responsibility will be to perform FEM simulations to analyze and optimize resonator designs, ensuring they meet performance specifications. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to support filter designs that are integral to the Starlink project, contributing to the mission of connecting the world through innovative satellite technology.
