Job Description

Responsible for driving cross-functional network capacity delivery within one or more assigned AWS region(s) of Data Centers, with a demonstrated efficiency allowing them to flex beyond standard volume, complexity, and/or criticality. They work across multiple teams (Software, Supply Chain, Capacity Planning, Infrastructure TPMs, Networking, Metro Fiber, Infrastructure Delivery, Sourcing and Vendor Management) to solve complex issues (ambiguous problems with no clear path forward) at scale. Technical acumen spans multiple tools and are the SME for any process/tool related issues. Negotiate resources and priorities, make trade-offs between short-term vs. long-term needs to clear obstacles while leading though influence to increase the speed of delivery. Apply technical knowledge to their function through owning 1 or more org-level goals and program related metric with ambiguous requirements and cross-organizational impact. Establish new mechanisms to drive improvement across region and provide updates. 5+ years of technical infrastructure management experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering or Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent technical DegreeExcellent written composition and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Tableau
Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
Anticipates, identifies and drives resolution of technical challenges and interdependencies to prevent downstream problems.
Self-motivated problem solver; able to thrive in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, adapts to change quickly.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
