AQR Capital Management is seeking an Asia Markets Trader to manage global trading across major asset classes. This role requires expertise in liquidity sourcing and market structure, with a focus on systematic trading processes.
You have a strong background in trading and finance, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and asset classes. Your experience includes managing trades across equities, credit, bonds, FX, futures, options, and swaps, allowing you to navigate complex trading environments effectively. You are skilled in transaction cost analysis and have a proven track record of developing trading models and automated algorithms to enhance trading efficiency and returns.
You thrive in collaborative environments and value transparency and openness to new ideas. Your analytical mindset enables you to systematically review factors affecting transaction costs and to build expertise in liquidity sourcing and market structure. In this role, you will be responsible for trading AQR's investment strategies across various asset classes. You will manage the execution of trades, ensuring optimal pricing and minimal slippage. Your work will involve developing and refining trading models and algorithms that enhance the performance of AQR's investment strategies. You will collaborate closely with other team members to analyze market conditions and adjust trading strategies accordingly.
You will also engage in transaction cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in trading processes. Your insights will help shape the trading philosophy of the Global Trading Strategies group, contributing to AQR's reputation as a leader in alternative strategies and innovative portfolio management.
