Job Description

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. One customer experience that we’re constantly looking to take to a new level is how we fulfill and deliver orders. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of all our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small are delivered where and when they need them, as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, Amazon is continually striving to innovate and provide best in class service levels through the introduction of pioneering new products and services in the last mile delivery space.

The last mile Routing and Planning team is at the heart of our growing logistics network at Amazon. We’re challenged to constantly improve and innovate on our vehicle routing software and tools to better support fast delivery to customers. We have among the most complex vehicle routing problems in the industry, including large, capacitive, commingled, and time windowed routing problems. We dispatch thousands of drivers a day to carry millions of packages to our customers.

The last mile routing and planning team is looking for a customer-obsessed, detail oriented Senior Product Manager-Technical with a strong track record of delivering results and proven product management experience to own and execute a 2025-26 expansion plan that will grow the footprint of our fastest delivery programs in the United States. This role will manage Sub-Same Day routing in 2025 and define the model for future expansion in 2026, enabling Amazon to continue to push the envelope when it comes to delivery speed.

The Team: How often have you had an opportunity to be a member of a team launching unique customer experiences across the country? You can expect all the challenges and benefits of a high-profile business: wide-open space for improvement and innovation, a strong team, and a fast-paced environment. These will require a willingness to dive into the details, solve new problems as they arise, think big, leverage high judgment and gut instinct, look around corners, and always obsess over customers.

The Role: You are results oriented and have thrived and succeeded in launching new products and businesses under tight deadlines. In addition to product management and technical skills, the role requires a strong customer and operational focus. You will need to constantly look for optimization areas, work with science and tech on implementing the roadmap, track progress and define how we scale; Ability to influence, analytical ability, strong tracking/monitoring capabilities, exceptional communication skills and leadership are essential to success in this role.

The pay-off is high ownership, an ability to deliver results, execute launches with high quality and raise the bar for how we expand our speed programs. You will interact closely with the business team, the technology team, and the supply chain/operations team to identify/manage critical projects.

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
