Dropbox is hiring a ServiceNow Engineer to design and maintain their enterprise service management platform. You'll focus on IT Service Management and collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth delivery of core processes. This role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and a strong foundation in ITIL processes.
You have hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and a strong foundation in IT Service Lifecycle (ITIL) processes — you understand the importance of delivering high-quality service management solutions. You can work independently while collaborating across teams, ensuring that all configurations and customizations meet business needs. Your analytical skills allow you to review and improve existing workflows, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
You are familiar with ITOM modules such as Orchestration, Service Mapping, and Event Management — your expertise enables you to implement and maintain these modules effectively. You have experience integrating ServiceNow with other platforms, such as Workday, and are interested in leveraging AI/ML features for workflow automation. Your ability to develop standards and best practices ensures that the ServiceNow platform remains robust and user-friendly.
As a ServiceNow Engineer at Dropbox, you will design, build, and maintain the enterprise service management platform — your primary focus will be on IT Service Management and related modules. You will implement, configure, and maintain ServiceNow workflows, service catalogs, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, reports, data imports, integrations, and other automation, applying best practices to ensure high standards of quality and usability.
You will collaborate with service owners, architects, and business partners to understand their needs and develop solutions that support critical business processes such as incident, request, asset, and change management. Your role will involve reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness of existing configurations and workflows, developing strategies for improvement, and executing test plans to ensure successful implementations.
You will also serve as tier 2 support for ServiceNow, addressing any issues that arise and collaborating with senior engineers to identify opportunities for workflow automation. Your contributions will help maintain platform health and improve automation, ensuring that solutions meet the high standards expected by Dropbox.
