Senior Enterprise Security Engineer

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on designing and implementing security solutions that protect enterprise systems and data. Your expertise includes working with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and encryption technologies. You are well-versed in compliance requirements and understand the importance of maintaining a robust security posture in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.

You have hands-on experience with zero trust policies and are familiar with tools like ZScaler and Cloudflare. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to collaborate effectively with IT, compliance, and business units to implement security best practices. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can continuously monitor and adapt to new security challenges.

You possess a deep understanding of risk management and are skilled in conducting risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities within enterprise systems. Your proactive approach to security ensures that you are always one step ahead of potential threats, and you are comfortable responding to incidents as they arise.

Desirable

Experience with cloud security and familiarity with various cloud platforms will be a plus. Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST or ISO 27001 will enhance your candidacy. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure across the organization. You will work closely with the InfoSec team to enhance the security components that protect the Celonis Application and Platforms stacks. Your hands-on technical skills will be crucial in ensuring that enterprise systems, networks, and data are safeguarded against cyber threats.

You will lead initiatives to design and implement enterprise-level security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DLP, SIEM, and encryption. Your role will involve continuously monitoring the global security posture and adapting strategies to address the ever-changing threat landscape. You will collaborate with various teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Your responsibilities will also include conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security weaknesses. You will respond to security incidents effectively, coordinating with IT and compliance teams to mitigate risks and ensure a swift resolution. Your expertise will help shape the security policies and procedures that govern the organization’s approach to cybersecurity.
