Devops Engineer

Who you are

You have 4-5 years of strong hands-on experience in DevOps, particularly in system monitoring and production engineering support. Your expertise lies in ensuring performance, reliability, and troubleshooting of complex systems. You possess in-depth knowledge of Linux internals and are proficient in Python scripting and automation, which you use to build scalable monitoring and alerting solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. You are eager to contribute ideas and improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Desirable

Experience with trading systems or financial applications would be a plus, as would familiarity with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but your practical experience and problem-solving skills are what truly matter.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support and stability of AlphaGrep's infrastructure. You will monitor production trading applications, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues as they arise and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences. You will participate in the operational shift cycle, collaborating with other team members to maintain high availability and performance of trading systems. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of automated monitoring solutions, enhancing the team's ability to respond to incidents swiftly.
